Sundarijal Hike

A nature-rich route through Shivapuri National Park, past waterfalls and forest trails. You can extend to Chisapani for village views and cultural immersion.

Start: Kathmandu → Sundarijal
End: Mulkharka / Chisapani (optional extension)
Distance: ~12–18 km depending on turnaround point
Time: ~4–6 hours
Altitude: ~1,460 m at Sundarijal, ~2,300 m at Chisapani
Highlights: Gateway to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park; cascading waterfalls, freshwater streams, and stone stairways; lush jungle trails; Mulkharka village with traditional Tamang houses; panoramic ridge views if extended to Chisapani; cool and refreshing climate year-round.
